The Role
As a Qualified Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons in line with the relevant curriculum.
Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
Differentiating lessons to meet the needs and abilities of all pupils.
Assessing and monitoring pupil progress and providing appropriate feedback.
Supporting pupils to achieve their academic and personal potential.
Maintaining high expectations of behaviour, attainment and achievement.
Building positive and professional relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
Working effectively with teaching assistants and other support staff.
Contributing to the wider life of the school.
Maintaining accurate records of pupil progress and assessment.
Following school policies and procedures, including safeguarding and behaviour policies.
Attending relevant meetings and contributing to the wider school team.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will be a qualified teacher who is passionate about education and committed to achieving the best outcomes for pupils.
You will ideally have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised equivalent.
Previous teaching experience within a primary or secondary school setting, depending on the role.
Strong classroom management skills.
A good understanding of the relevant curriculum.
The ability to plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A positive, flexible and professional approach.
The ability to build strong relationships with pupils and colleagues.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.
The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
