DBS School Support Roles - #2133175

Blue Arrow is currently recruiting for a variety of School Support Staff positions to work within Primary and Secondary Schools across Birmingham, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Dudley, Solihull, Redditch and Worcester.

Available Roles:

Lunchtime Supervisors:

• Supervising pupils during lunch breaks both indoors and outdoors.
• Assisting pupils with any issues that arise during lunchtime.
• Reporting accidents, incidents, or concerns to the appropriate staff members.
• Assisting with the organisation of playground activities where necessary.
• Maintaining a clean and tidy cafeteria/canteen.

Hours: 11.30am-1.30pm - Monday to Friday

Catering Assistant:

• Assisting with the preparation and serving of food and beverages.
• Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
• Washing dishes and cleaning kitchen.
• Assisting kitchen staff with general duties as required.
• Following all health and safety procedures.
• Serving food over the counter.

Hours: 10am-2/2.30pm

Cleaner:

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets, and communal areas.
• Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
• Restocking cleaning supplies and consumables where required.
• Ensuring all areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.
• Following school health and safety guidelines.
• Reporting any maintenance or health and safety concerns.

Hours: 3-6.30pm

Requirements:

• Must have previous experience working in a school environment
• ENHANCED DBS DISCLOSURE - must be dated within the last 12 months or on the update service
• Safeguarding training, Food Hygiene level 2 and Benedict's Law training - this can be provided by Blue Arrow
• Excellent reliability and punctuality
• Must be able to commit to Monday to Friday
