MBR Dental are currently assisting a brand-new orthodontic practice in Alum Rock, East Birmingham, West Midlands to recruit an NHS Orthodontist to join their team on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Specialist Orthodontist to join a newly established, fully digital orthodontic service with a strong NHS patient base, significant local demand, and excellent potential to develop a private orthodontic service.
Position Details
Available immediately (notice periods considered)
Full-time or part-time opportunity
Flexible working days available
Monday to Saturday working available
NHS salary of approximately £180,000 FTE, based on 37.5 hours per week
Private orthodontic fees paid at 50%
NHS orthodontic contract with an anticipated caseload of approximately 600 patients
Opportunity to develop and grow private orthodontic services
Strong referral potential from surrounding dental practices
Significant local demand for both NHS and private orthodontic treatment
About the Role
Suitable for a GDC Registered Specialist Orthodontist
NHS Performer Number essential
Providing orthodontic treatment for both children and adults
Orthodontist will be responsible for treatment planning and prescribing
Treatments will be carried out by experienced Orthodontic Therapists
Opportunity to provide clinical leadership, mentoring and guidance
Clinical autonomy with support from an experienced Clinical Director
Opportunity to help shape and develop a brand-new orthodontic service
