Are you an experienced financial services professional who enjoys presenting, educating and helping people make better financial decisions?

We’re working with a leading financial well-being and workplace advisory specialist that supports employees across some of the UK’s largest corporate and public sector organisations.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit several engaging and knowledgeable Financial Coaches to join their national team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who combines strong technical financial services/advisory knowledge, with the confidence and personality to bring complex financial topics to life.

The Role

As a Financial Coach, you’ll deliver engaging financial education programmes to employees across the UK, helping people better understand topics such as pensions, investments, taxation and retirement planning.

You’ll deliver a variety of face-to-face seminars, webinars and online presentations, engaging with employees from a wide range of backgrounds and helping them understand how financial decisions can impact their future.

You’ll also contribute to the development of new educational content and modules, research emerging topics and legislation, and work closely with colleagues and corporate clients to deliver an exceptional experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Delivering engaging financial education seminars, webinars and webcasts
• Presenting on pensions, investments, taxation and wider financial topics
• Explaining complex financial concepts in a clear, accessible way
• Supporting the development of new education modules and presentations
• Keeping up to date with changes to pensions, taxation and investment legislation
• Researching financial and regulatory topics and sharing knowledge with colleagues
• Helping develop new ideas for employee education and engagement
• Providing technical support to colleagues across the business
• Building positive relationships with corporate clients and their employees
• Representing the organisation in a professional, friendly and knowledgeable manner

What We’re Looking For

• At least 3 years’ experience in technical presenting, training or educational delivery within financial advice/services
• Strong knowledge of UK retail financial services, particularly pensions
• Knowledge of Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution schemes
• Understanding of employee share plans and other investments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to explain complex financial concepts simply and confidently
• Experience creating or developing technical presentations
• A proactive, self-motivated and collaborative approach
• The flexibility to travel and work away from home when required

Qualifications

A Diploma in Financial Planning/Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning would be highly desirable, as would relevant CII pensions qualifications such as J05, R04.
