Mobile Plant Engineer - #2132270

We are currently seeking a Mobile Plant Engineer to join a well-established fleet repair company based in Birmingham. This opportunity is ideal for experienced HGV or plant equipment technicians seeking a mobile role with steady earnings and performance bonuses. Duties of the Mobile Plant Engineer:

• Service, inspect, repair, and refurbish a variety of plant equipment including dumpers, diggers, telehandlers, trailers, and pumps
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical issues
• Respond to breakdowns and perform preventative maintenance to minimise downtime
• Ensure all work adheres to manufacturer specifications, environmental, and health and safety standards
• Maintain comprehensive records of all service and repairs carried out
• Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring fleet performance remains optimal

Requirements of the Mobile Plant Engineer:

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent qualification
• Proven experience as an HGV technician or plant mechanic
• Full UK driving licence is essential
• Own toolset; specialist tools will be supplied by the company
• Proactive approach with a customer-focused mindset
• Experience diagnosing hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical faults is highly advantageous
