Our client is looking for an analytical Senior Performance Analyst who thrives on exploring data, spotting trends, identifying opportunities, and uncovering insights behind the numbers. You'll have a keen eye for detail, a commitment to data quality and the confidence to turn data into clear reports and dashboards that support better decision making.

Working closely with colleagues in the property compliance team, you'll lead on performance reporting and help ensure data is robust and of the highest quality.

Key responsibilities of the Senior Performance Analyst:

  • Ensure effective monitoring and reporting systems are in place to provide accurate and timely information about the department's activities.
  • Analyse, research, compile information and write reports for senior managers relating to financial data, performance, Best Value or strategy.
  • Working with the Surveying and Contract management teams to collate and interrogate property and/or project related data, ensuring robust quality, integrity, accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform quantitative data analyses and interpret the results for the business.
  • Seek opportunities to take initiative, improve processes, customer satisfaction and costs.
  • Work with others to ensure all critical services are operational, identifying any issues that require improvement or further information.
  • Work closely with others in preparing budgets and financial frameworks.
  • Ensure the continuous development and implementation of the Asset Management stock database.

Required experience/qualifications of the Senior Performance Analyst:

  • Experience of designing and developing business management processes to ensure the robust scrutiny and reporting of performance
  • Experience within Housing Associations or wider public sector organisations would be ideal
  • Experience of collating complex sources of data, managing, monitoring and reporting of information
  • Financial management and budgetary control techniques
  • Knowledge and understanding of software and data packages
  • Experience of developing, managing and monitoring project delivery

Benefits available alongside the Senior Performance Analyst position:

  • Flexible working including a 9-day fortnight
  • Pension contributions
  • Lifestyle discounts
  • Remote based role (presence required in Birmingham for induction and occasional meetings)
