Drylining Site Manager - #2130209

I’m working with a small but rapidly growing drylining contractor who are looking for a Site Manager to take control of a circa £3m project in central Birmingham.

This is a good opportunity for someone who wants more than just another project to manage. The business is still relatively small, meaning you’ll have direct access to the senior team, plenty of autonomy and a genuine opportunity to progress as the company continues to grow.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of a significant drylining package, including:

• Managing labour and subcontractors on site
• Driving programme and ensuring works stay on schedule
• Maintaining quality and health & safety standards
• Coordinating with the main contractor and other trades
• Managing materials, site logistics and sequencing of works
• Reporting progress back to the Contracts Manager/Director
• Taking ownership of the project through to completion

What They’re Looking For

Ideally, you’ll have:

• Previous experience managing drylining / SFS / ceilings / partitions packages
• Experience running your own projects
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid
• The confidence to take ownership rather than needing to be micromanaged
