Deputy Headteacher - #2129794

Are you an education expert? We are currently seeking to represent an experienced Deputy Headteacher for the upcoming academic year. We are supporting a primary school (including nursery) within the North Birmingham area (B23) with their recruitment need for temporary, long-term cover.

If you are an experienced primary experienced Deputy Headteacher who is available from September 2026 for a new senior leadership job opportunity in Birmingham, West Midlands we would be keen to speak with you. This leadership job can be offered either on a part time or full-time basis depending on your personal working requirements. As a minimum, the support required would be two days per week, ideally Monday’s and Wednesday’s. In order to be successfully shortlisted in any of your applications with us we will require the following:

A relevant UK based teaching (QTS or similar) qualification.

Substantial experience working within a primary education setting.

All required documents for safer recruitment processing including, but not limited to a valid right to work proof and a valid Enhanced DBS.

Exceptional references.

Once shortlisted, a one-to-one interview will be scheduled with your dedicated consultant to discuss your experience and personal requirements. You will be provided with advice and guidance in relation to your requirements that respect your home and work life balance. You will work solely with your consultant throughout your registration journey and beyond, always having direct access to speak with them on a one-to-one basis.

Salary: L4 (£285.88 to £295.88 per day)
