The successful Accounts Payable Clerk will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operation of the purchase ledger function within a busy and fast-paced finance team. You will be responsible for processing supplier invoices, reconciling supplier statements, handling invoice and payment queries, and ensuring suppliers are paid accurately and within agreed timescales. Working closely with colleagues across multiple departments and external suppliers, you will help maintain efficient financial processes and positive supplier relationships. Experience within a professional services environment would be advantageous. This role would suit a proactive individual with excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage a varied workload effectively.

Ideally, you will:

• Have previous experience working within an Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger position, ideally within a high-volume processing environment. Experience within a professional services organisation would be beneficial.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to develop strong working relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

• Have experience using accounting systems; Dynamics 365 experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
