Software Developer (Moodle) - #2127153

Robert Half are resourcing for a Moodle developer vacancy. The successful candidate will design, develop, test, document and maintain software, integrations and Moodle applications and plug-ins. They will investigate and resolve technical issues, work with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions, and contribute to testing, code reviews and continuous improvement. They will also share knowledge and work collaboratively as part of the wider development team.

Technical Skills

Essential

• PHP, OOP, SOLID and design patterns.
• Moodle plug-in development.
• JavaScript, HTML, SCSS/CSS and Bootstrap 4/5.
• REST APIs, HTTP, JSON and XML.
• SQL, Git and Linux/BASH.
• XDebug and PHPUnit.
• Agile and development practices including DDD, TDD and BDD

Desirable

• Moodle Developer Basics and Skills certifications.
• Professional accreditation or willingness to work towards it.
