Client accountant - #2125994

We are recruiting for a Client Accountant to join an established property and asset services organisation. You'll manage accounting across a dedicated property portfolio, working closely with clients and internal teams to deliver accurate and timely financial services.

• Manage client and property trial balances.
• Prepare client and management reports.
• Handle service charge and rent accounting.
• Reconcile cash, invoices, and client accounts.
• Resolve accounting and client queries.
• Maintain accurate financial records and systems.
• Manage service charge year-end reconciliations.
• Prepare completion statements and funding requests.
• Ensure client income is paid accurately and on time.
• Support client audits and financial reviews.
• Lead client calls and manage external stakeholders.
• Support onboarding and offboarding of properties and clients.
• Assist with coaching junior accounting team members.

• Follow internal procedures, RICS guidelines, and client money regulations.
• Review outputs from internal and offshore teams.
• Identify and escalate financial risks and issues.
• Maintain accurate compliance and reporting records.

• Use property management and accounting systems.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date system records.
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills required.

• 2-3 years' property or client accounting experience.
• Understanding of service charges, rent, and client money.
• Experience with property management systems.
• PM&A Tramps experience desirable.
• Knowledge of RICS/client money regulations desirable.

• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Organised and deadline-focused.
• Proactive and able to take ownership.
• Strong team player with a willingness to develop.
