Travel Reservations Manager - Birmingham - £35k-£40k

This is an exciting role ideal for a team leader, supervisor or manager with experience in the travel industry within a tour operator or travel agent.

Travel Reservations Manager Duties:

• Support the Reservations Manager in the effective day-to-day running and management of the Reservations Department. 
• Promote and drive the sales to support marketing campaigns, airlines of the month, cruise lines of the month, preferred airlines and key suppliers.
• Supporting to achieve monthly revenue, commission and land targets, whilst ensuring consistently high levels of customer service.
• Assist to coach & develop the Reservations team to ensure best practice in sales and performance.
• Through own self development and training maintain up to date knowledge of products and Industry developments.

Travel Reservations Manager - Essential Requirements:

• Management experience within the travel industry for a tour operator such as a travel sales manager, team leader and/or supervisor is essential
• Customer & Travel Agent focused
• To be able to communicate effectively
• Be able to manage and motivate a team
• Excellent product & system knowledge including Amadeus, Travelport, Vibe & Dolphin.
• To create a team culture that thrive to make improvements to the service provided.
