The Role
- Join a highly respected Real Estate Dispute Resolution team based in Birmingham.
- Advise on a broad range of contentious property matters for commercial clients.
- Handle complex disputes involving landlord and tenant issues, development disputes, property litigation and contractual matters.
- Manage your own caseload while working alongside experienced specialists on high-quality matters.
- Provide commercially focused advice to clients facing challenging property disputes.
- Draft legal documents including pleadings, witness statements and correspondence.
- Support clients through negotiation, mediation and court proceedings.
- Gain exposure to a varied caseload that offers both technical challenge and opportunities for development.
- Work closely with colleagues across the wider Real Estate practice to deliver joined-up advice.
- Build strong client relationships by understanding commercial objectives and providing practical solutions.
- Contribute to business development activity, client training and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Develop your reputation as a specialist within the property disputes market.

- Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales.
- Approximately 2–5 years’ PQE experience within real estate litigation or property dispute resolution.
- Strong technical understanding of contentious property matters.
- Experience managing your own caseload and handling matters from inception through to resolution.
- Excellent drafting, communication and analytical skills.
- Commercial approach with the ability to understand clients’ wider business objectives.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Confident working with clients and building trusted professional relationships.
- A proactive approach with the ambition to continue developing as a specialist property disputes lawyer.
- A collaborative team player who enjoys working alongside experienced colleagues.
