The successful candidate will independently manage cost consultancy commissions from feasibility through final account while advising clients on procurement, commercial strategy and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-contract and post-contract cost management commissions
• Advise clients on procurement strategy, value engineering and commercial risk
• Administer JCT contracts including valuations, variations and final accounts
• Monitor project costs, cashflow and financial reporting
• Deliver commercial advice across new-build, refurbishment, fit-out, recladding and reinstatement projects

Requirements

• Chartered MRICS status
• Practical experience administering JCT construction contracts
• Established pre-contract and post-contract quantity surveying experience
• Experience across property or construction sectors
• Consultancy or transferable contractor-side experience
