Field Service Engineer (Cleaning Equipment) - #2124056

Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with an industry leading supplier of industrial cleaning equipment that are looking to bring on a field engineer to cover the West Midlands. With a competitive package and overall working environment, this is a great opportunity for an experienced engineer working in the industry or within a similar industry such as Material Handling. 

Responsibilities

• Carrying out both proactive and reactive maintenance on industrial cleaning equipment for a customer base across the West Midlands and further afield when required
• Working on a wide range of different types of machinery from vacuum cleaners to municipal machines 
• Developing a strong technical understanding of the company’s product range
• Collaborating with the senior technician and the rest of the service department to ensure that repairs are carried out in a timely and professional manner
• Communicating with customers and representing the company in a businesslike manner when on site
• Developing a strong technical understanding of the company’s product range

Requirements

The company have strong preference for an individual with a background in working on industrial cleaning or material handling equipment, however, this is not essential. They will also consider applicants from something closely related such as Commercial Vehicles, Agriculture or Heavy Plant provided you have experience working in industrial type settings. It is essential that you present yourself in a professional manner and are able to maintain excellent levels of customer service at all times. In terms of location, you will need to be based in the West Midlands since the bulk of the customer base will be in this area.

• Basic salary up to £40,000 (Depending on experience)
