Team Administrator – Birmingham City Centre
We are currently seeking a Team Administrator to join a nurturing and progressive international law firm, based in modern offices in Birmingham City Centre.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced administrator to join a sociable and supportive team within a forward-thinking legal environment.
Salary: £25,500–£26,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week
Working pattern: Hybrid
The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months’ administration experience and be looking to develop their career within a professional, collaborative and people-focused organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Supporting the PAs with the organisation and coordination of meetings, interviews, internal and external events, seminars and conferences
- Booking travel, preparing and sending materials, updating processes and maintaining appropriate folder structures
- File management, including opening and closing files, ensuring documents are accurately filed, updating matters and archiving files where required
- Ordering office supplies, monitoring stock levels and arranging bookings as needed
- Organising couriers and managing incoming and outgoing post
- Printing, copying and scanning documents
- Answering internal calls and responding to emails on behalf of the team
- Assisting the PAs with billing, expenses and other financial administration
- Managing workloads effectively and ensuring deadlines are met
- Producing court bundles and ensuring all documentation is accurate and prepared in line with instructions
- Attending team meetings and taking accurate notes when required
About you
We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive and detail-oriented, with a positive and professional approach. You will enjoy working as part of a sociable team and be confident managing a varied workload in a fast-paced professional environment.
Please note: This role is not suitable for law graduates seeking a route into a paralegal position, as there is no progression into a paralegal role. The successful candidate must have previous administration experience and be genuinely interested in pursuing a career within team/administrative support.
