Class 2 Driver (Temp-to-Perm)

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 Driver for a well-established commercial crate hire and logistics company in Birmingham. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent contract with a stable, growing business.

Pay Rates
Standard: £15.00 per hour
Overtime: £15.30 per hour
Saturday: £15.75 per hour
Sunday & Bank Holidays: £21.00 per hour

The Role
This is not just a driving job. It is a varied role ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of driving and yard/warehouse operations.
Low Workload: Maximum of 4 delivery drops per day.
Loading/Unloading: A mix of manual handballing and operating a forklift to load and unload stock.
Schedule: Standard daytime hours with excellent enhanced rates for overtime and weekend shifts.

Requirements

• Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Valid Forklift licence with proven operating experience (essential).
• Maximum of 6 points on licence (for insurance purposes).
• High reliability and readiness for an immediate start.
