Site Manager / Working Foreman - Birmingham Projects

Are you a hands-on leader with strong site management skills and a passion for keeping projects on track? We have two exciting, fast-paced projects launching next week in Birmingham-on Waterloo Street and Temple Street-that need a dedicated Site Manager who's also comfortable stepping in as a working foreman. These projects demand someone who can confidently utilise tools like Breadcrumb and Procore for seamless site coordination while still rolling up their sleeves when needed.

You'll be overseeing a concise but critical scope: starting 17/08/2024, the CPC project will run for approximately two weeks, wrapping up by 03/09/2024, while the Temple Street job involves 3-4 days focused on data and power installations to floor boxes. This role blends leadership with hands-on involvement, ensuring smooth, safe, and timely delivery.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in site management or working foreman roles, ideally on small-to-medium scale construction or fit-out projects.
  • Proficient with Breadcrumb and Procore software for site reporting and project communication.
  • Strong leadership with the ability to manage teams effectively on-site.
  • Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to perform hands-on work and assist operationally when necessary.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience working with data and power installations, particularly floor boxes.
  • Familiarity with contract programme coordination (CPC).
  • Competence in multitasking between site management and active trade duties.
  • Previous experience managing multiple small projects simultaneously.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Relevant qualification in construction management, site supervision, or a related discipline is advantageous.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar site management or working foreman capacity.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to commence work at short notice starting Monday, 17/08/2024.
  • Location: Must be available to work on-site in Birmingham.
  • Valid CSCS card or equivalent site access certification.

If you're ready to take ownership of these dynamic projects and thrive in a role that balances leadership with practical involvement, we want to hear from you. Apply today to join a team that values initiative, skill, and commitment on site.
