Finance Business Partner (travel to sites) - #2118617
Natalie Wells Recruitment
Do you like listening to music, podcasts, audiobooks, the radio, or simply having time to think?
When you're a Finance Business Partner who thrives on getting out to see people on site, you get to do some of that during your working day.
This isn't a role for someone who wants to sit at Head Office emailing spreadsheets to Operations.
You'll spend 3-4 days a week out in the business, partnering Operations Managers across multiple sites: understanding what's happening, challenging where necessary and helping them improve performance.
The business is a c.£300m national foodservice operation with ambitious growth plans, creating future opportunity.
You'll own the financial relationship with your sites, covering:
- KPIs, weekly reporting and management accounts
- Budgets, forecasts and variance analysis
- Operational costs and efficiencies
- Capex proposals and business cases
- Site P&Ls
- Turning numbers into something Operations can actually use
It's a standalone role, so there's no team to manage. We're looking for someone who can build strong relationships and provide some challenge, rather than simply going through the motions.
You'll probably be qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA or QBE, with solid management accounting foundations and commercial business partnering experience.
Your background could be FMCG, foodservice, distribution, logistics; anywhere fast-paced, operational, multi-site and cost-conscious.
You'll also need to genuinely enjoy being out with the business. The travel isn't an occasional inconvenience. It's the job. When you're not on site, you can work from home.
£50,000-£55,000 + car allowance, pension
25 days' holiday, with the option to buy 5 more
