Job description - the role

On behalf of PwC, we are looking for a Programme Test Manager (Salesforce) for a 12 Months contract based remotely (ad hoc travels to Birmingham office).

As Senior Test Manager with experience in Salesforce, you will lead and establish the testing function for a major Salesforce transformation programme. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for defining test strategy, building high-performing test teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of quality outcomes across a complex enterprise environment.

What you'll do:

• Define and implement the overall test strategy, governance, and quality assurance framework for the programme.
• Build, lead, and develop a large-scale testing function, ensuring effective resource planning and allocation.
• Manage end-to-end testing activities across multiple workstreams, including system, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Collaborate with programme stakeholders, delivery teams, and business leaders to ensure quality objectives are achieved.
• Oversee test schedules, risk management, defect resolution, and reporting to programme leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement in testing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance delivery effectiveness.

The skills you'll need:

• Extensive Test Management experience with a proven track record of leading complex testing programmes.
• Experience delivering testing within large-scale Salesforce transformation programmes.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing large testing teams and functions.
• Expertise in test strategy development, resource planning, and test governance.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and business audiences.
• Experience in insurance environments would be advantageous.
