Secondary Cover Supervisor - #2118219
Prospero Teaching
Prospero Teaching is recruiting Secondary Cover Supervisors to work across schools and academies throughout the Midlands.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes during teacher absence, deliver pre-prepared work and ensure students remain engaged with their learning. You will not usually be required to plan lessons or mark work.
Opportunities range from flexible daily supply to longer-term placements. This can suit candidates wanting flexibility as well as those looking to build consistent secondary school experience.
We welcome applications from experienced Cover Supervisors as well as graduates and candidates with transferable experience in education, tutoring, youth work, sports coaching, mentoring, behaviour support or other roles working with young people.
The role requires confidence leading a classroom, clear communication skills and the ability to establish expectations and manage behaviour effectively. Previous experience with secondary-aged pupils is particularly beneficial.
Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one.
Prospero Teaching offers a dedicated Secondary Recruitment Consultant, competitive rates of pay, interview preparation and career support, free access to Prospero Learning including CPD and accredited online training, and ongoing support throughout your placement.
To apply, please submit an up-to-date CV outlining your relevant experience.
