Invoice Backlog Project - #2118198

We're currently supporting a well-established business within the property sector who are looking for an organised and proactive candidate to join the Finance team and assist with a VAT invoice backlog.

This is a hands-on role focused on the collection and management of VAT invoices, ensuring outstanding documentation is followed up efficiently and financial records remain accurate and up to date.

You'll take ownership of a portfolio of outstanding VAT invoices, communicating with a range of contacts by phone and email to obtain missing documentation. You'll also support the wider Finance team with reporting, data collation and general finance administration.

• Have the ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a team

• Be proactive in your approach and confident picking up the phone to chase outstanding information

• Have proven experience chasing outstanding invoices, along with reconciliation experience

• Have strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

• Have a general awareness of property-related processes and procedures, which would be advantageous

• Work independently alongside senior team members in an established and supportive environment

• Have a generous hybrid working arrangement with some flexibility around your hours

• Have the opportunity to carry out ad-hoc analysis and present findings directly to the Finance Manager

• Work on an interim basis with a competitive rate and potential for extension
