Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities will vary depending on the role and organisation but may include:

• Producing accurate monthly management accounts and financial reporting
• Preparing budgets, forecasts and long-term financial plans
• Delivering insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
• Business partnering with operational and senior stakeholders
• Managing balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow forecasting and financial controls
• Supporting statutory reporting, external audits and regulatory compliance
• Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting
• Leading, mentoring and developing finance teams within senior-level positions
• Supporting business growth through commercial finance and performance analysis

About You

We're keen to hear from finance professionals with experience within the Financial Services sector, including Banking, Insurance, Wealth Management, Asset Management, FinTech, Lending and other regulated financial organisations.

You may be:

• AAT qualified, part-qualified or fully qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Qualified by Experience (QBE)
• Experienced in management accounting, financial accounting, commercial finance, FP&A or business partnering
• A confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills
• Commercially minded with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Experienced using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, Sage or similar
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with experience of financial modelling considered advantageous
