Commercial Disputes / Litigation Solicitor | Birmingham | Excellent Work & Lifestyle

One of the biggest selling points of this opportunity is the chance to join a growing, Legal 500 recognised firm that is investing heavily in technology, innovation and its people. Working with an impressive portfolio of SMEs, owner-managed businesses, national organisations, insurers and corporate clients, you'll enjoy exposure to high-quality commercial disputes work while benefiting from genuine autonomy, exceptional support and a clear pathway for progression.

The Firm

This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking, Legal 500 recognised firm that continues to go from strength to strength. With sustained national growth and continued investment across its offices, the business has built a reputation for delivering exceptional legal services while embracing cutting-edge technology to enhance both the client experience and the way its lawyers work.

Its client base is as impressive as it is varied, acting for SMEs, owner-managed businesses, national companies, insurers and major corporate clients across a broad range of sectors. The work is commercially focused, often complex and always engaging, giving lawyers the opportunity to build long-term relationships with clients who value practical, strategic advice.

You'll be joining a collaborative and ambitious team where autonomy is encouraged from day one. Lawyers are trusted to manage their own matters, develop client relationships and make decisions, all while benefiting from the support, guidance and mentoring of experienced colleagues who are genuinely invested in helping you succeed. Whether you're looking to deepen your technical expertise or take the next step in your career, you'll find a culture that encourages growth rather than hierarchy.

Could your next move be somewhere that gives you the freedom to run your own caseload while providing the backing of a highly experienced and supportive litigation team?

The Role

  • Manage a varied caseload of Commercial Disputes matters from instruction through to resolution.
  • Advise a diverse client base including SMEs, owner-managed businesses, national organisations, insurers and corporate clients.
  • Handle matters involving contractual disputes, property litigation, breach of directors' duties, trespass, nuisance and other complex commercial disputes.
  • Work within an insurance-backed litigation environment, considering policy coverage and supporting claims handling where appropriate.
  • Represent clients throughout the litigation process across the relevant courts and tribunals.
  • Collaborate with experienced commercial litigators on high-value and technically challenging matters.
  • Build strong and lasting relationships with clients, insurers, counsel and other key stakeholders.
  • Supervise and mentor junior members of the team, including trainees and paralegals.
  • Deliver commercially focused advice that helps clients navigate legal and business risk with confidence.
What if your next role gave you the opportunity to advise an outstanding client base while working for a firm that's genuinely investing in technology, innovation and your long-term career?
