Salary: £35,000 - £45,000

They are on the lookout for an experienced and talented Town Planner/Senior Town Planner to join their growing team in Birmingham.

Duties for the role of Town Planner/Senior Town Planner:

• Provide planning advice to clients across various development projects
• Manage planning applications from inception through to determination
• Prepare planning appraisals and statements to support planning documentation
• Liaise with local planning authorities, clients and stakeholders
• Support strategic planning and development projects

Skills and experience for the role of Town Planner/Senior Town Planner:

• Degree within Town Planning or another related degree
• Relevant experience in a Town Planning role within a planning consultancy or local authority
• Strong working knowledge of the UK planning system and planning policy
• Previous experience with planning applications and development projects
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to build and maintain client relationships
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work well independently and within a team
• Achieved or working towards RTPI chartership
