Our client, West Midlands Police, are on the lookout for three enthusiastic First Aid Trainers to join their dynamic team on a temporary basis. Position: First Aid Trainer
Contract Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 12 months
Hourly Rate: £19.78
Location: West Midlands Police Training Centre
### Key Responsibilities:
- Design & Deliver: Create and implement engaging learning & development programmes aligned with organisational needs and College of Policing Learning Outcomes.
- Manage Learners: Guide and support students in their learning journey, ensuring a conducive learning environment.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to gather insights and integrate best practises in training.
- Course Material Review: Regularly assess and update training content to keep it relevant and effective.
- Coaching & Assessment: Utilise coaching techniques to enhance student performance, providing constructive feedback and tailored Learning Development Plans.
- Promote Policies: Advocate for the organisation's Code of Ethics and Health and Safety protocols, ensuring compliance in all training activities.
- Flexibility Required: Be prepared to deliver training sessions during evenings and weekends as needed.
### Essential Qualifications:
- Recognised training or teaching qualification, or significant experience in training delivery and design.
- Willingness to complete a Police Training Roles Learning & Development Programme.
- Practical knowledge of current policing challenges, including efficiency and diversity issues.
### Desirable Skills:
- Experience in any of the following areas would be a bonus:
- IT Training Delivery
- First Aid Training
- Health & Safety Training
- Public Order Training
- Physical Training
- Driver and Road Policing Training
- Custody Officer Training
- Investigative Competence at PIP Level 2
