Are you a passionate and dedicated Food Technology Teacher looking for your next opportunity in Birmingham?

The Teach Team is currently working with a welcoming and well-resourced secondary school in Birmingham to recruit an enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher, five days per week.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive department where you can inspire students to develop practical cooking skills, nutritional knowledge, and a passion for food preparation and healthy living.

The Role
  • Deliver engaging Food Technology lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain high standards of classroom and kitchen safety.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Experience teaching Food Technology in a secondary school setting or vocational subjects.
  • Classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
  • A current enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
