Finance Business Partner

We are looking for a commercially minded Finance Business Partner to join our mid-sized, fast-paced distribution business based in Birmingham. This is a key role where you'll work closely with operational teams and senior management to provide insight, challenge, and support that drives informed decision-making. You'll be responsible for analysing financial performance, identifying opportunities for growth or cost savings, and translating complex data into clear, actionable recommendations. Your ability to bridge the gap between finance and operations will be crucial in helping the business achieve its goals.

This role offers variety, visibility, and the chance to make a real impact. You'll be embedded within the business, building strong relationships across departments and influencing strategy at both operational and commercial levels. We're looking for someone who is confident in presenting to senior stakeholders, proactive in spotting trends and issues, and comfortable working in a dynamic, evolving environment.

Ideal Candidate

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).

• Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.

• Able to communicate financial information to non-finance stakeholders.

• Experience in distribution, logistics, or manufacturing sectors is beneficial.

• Proactive, adaptable, and confident in building relationships across the business.
