A busy Secondary School based in North Birmingham is looking for an experienced School IT Technician. This role will be, Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm.
Your new role
The role is to support the school's computer systems, applications and associated software. The role will entail:

• Provide support and guidance to staff and students on the use of school's ICT systems, including training on the use of the equipment where necessary
• Maintain e-mail accounts for staff.
• Maintaining school MIS
• Support with day to day duties such as password resets and setting up projectors
• Support with software installations, hardware maintenance, upgrades, fault diagnosis and repair, security measures and back-up schedule.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to have excellent communication skills with relevant IT experience in the above. You will also have recent satisfactory references for carrying out a similar placement within the last 2 years. You will also need to have an up to date DBS check, the school can't accept any applicants without this
