Your new companyA West Midlands housing association is seeking an experienced Joiner Multi-Trade to carry out day-to-day reactive maintenance in occupied social housing properties. This is a short-term contract covering sickness, with the possibility of extension and long-term employment.
Your new role

• Responsive carpentry repairs in occupied homes
• Basic multi-trade tasks such as patch plastering, minor plumbing, tiling and making good
• Working independently across local housing stock

What you'll need to succeed

• NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds Level 2 in Carpentry/Joinery
• Previous experience in social housing reactive maintenance
• Own van and tools preferred (option for van provision later)
• Strong carpentry skills with multi-trade capability

What you'll get in return

• Up to £25.50 per hour
• 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
• 2-3 month contract with potential extension
• Possibility of becoming a full-time permanent employee
