NJR Recruitment is delighted to be working in partnership with a small but growing boutique financial planning business that is looking to strengthen their Compliance function. With an excellent reputation for delivering a highly personalised service to clients, the business is now seeking a Compliance Administrator to join its close-knit team based in there Birmingham office.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail and an interest in compliance and regulation within the financial services sector. Working within a supportive environment, you'll gain broad exposure to all aspects of compliance and have the chance to make a genuine impact as the business continues to grow.
This is a hybrid role (3 days in the office and 2 days working from home)

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Compliance function
- Conduct internal risk assessments and assist with ongoing regulatory monitoring
- Assist with file reviews, adviser observations and regulatory reporting
- Maintain compliance policies and procedures in line with changing FCA regulations
- Support complaint handling and Consumer Duty monitoring and attestations
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote a positive compliance culture across the business
- Participate in internal audits and assist with compliance training and guidance where required
What We're Looking For:
- Previous administration experience within financial services, ideally in a compliance or regulatory environment
- A basic understanding of FCA regulations and the financial planning/wealth management sector
- The ability to interpret and apply regulations accurately
- Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- A professional approach to handling confidential and sensitive information
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to build relationships across the business
- A proactive, positive attitude with a genuine commitment to maintaining high standards of compliance
