Our client is a highly successful, market-leading business with revenues exceeding £400m and an impressive track record of growth. As the business continues to evolve, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Group Tax Manager to join the finance leadership team and take ownership of the group's tax agenda.
This is a broad and commercially focused role, offering exposure across all areas of taxation whilst partnering closely with senior stakeholders across the business.

This is a broad and commercially focused role, offering exposure across all areas of taxation whilst partnering closely with senior stakeholders across the business.
The Role Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will be responsible for:
- Managing all aspects of UK corporate tax compliance and reporting
- Overseeing indirect tax matters including VAT compliance and advisory support
- Acting as the key point of contact for HMRC and external advisors
- Supporting acquisitions, restructures and strategic business projects from a tax perspective
- Identifying tax risks and opportunities across the group
- Ensuring robust tax governance and controls are maintained
- Providing commercially focused tax advice to senior stakeholders and operational teams
- Leading the relationship with external auditors and tax advisers
- ACA / CTA or equivalent professional qualification
- Training gained within a Big 4 or leading professional services environment
- Operating currently at Senior Manager level or above
- Strong technical knowledge across corporate tax, with exposure to indirect tax advantageous
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- A proactive and commercially minded approach
- Previous in-house experience is welcomed but not essential
