Are you a technically strong Paraplanner looking to work on complex financial planning cases within a highly regarded, people first, Independent Financial Planning firm?
We're partnering with a well-established IFA within the Midlands that is continuing to grow. With a strong reputation for delivering holistic financial planning, you'll work alongside experienced Financial Planners, providing high-level technical support across a diverse client base including HNW individuals, business owners and corporate clients.
This is an excellent opportunity to broaden your technical exposure within a collaborative advice environment where paraplanning is viewed as a key part of the client journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce bespoke suitability reports covering pensions, investments, protection and tax planning.
- Undertake technical research across investment platforms, pension providers and financial planning solutions.
- Prepare cashflow forecasts to support long-term financial planning recommendations.
- Analyse existing client arrangements and formulate appropriate technical recommendations.
- Support advisers with complex pre- and post-meeting preparation, ensuring advice remains FCA compliant and client-centric.
- Liaise with providers and internal stakeholders to ensure the efficient implementation of recommendations.
About You
- Previous Paraplanning experience within an IFA
- Level 4 Diploma qualified (or working towards Chartered status).
- Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, taxation and retirement planning.
- Experience producing high-quality suitability reports and carrying out detailed technical research.
- Familiar with cashflow modelling software (Voyant desirable) and back-office systems such as Intelligent Office/Xplan.
