People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Multidrop Van Driver based in Birmingham, West Midlands. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and genuine potential for progression.

This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a Van Driver, Truck Driver or Delivery Driver.

Shifts: Monday to Friday– Start times between 06:00 - 07:00 AM Starts

Rates of Pay: £12.71 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties

• Carry out multi-drop deliveries - Flatpack furniture
• Load the vehicle for the following day’s routes
• Ensure all loads are safe and secure
• Complete vehicle inspections and report faults
• Operate a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van safely and efficiently
• Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork
• Communicate effectively with staff at delivery locations
• Adhere to food hygiene regulations while transporting food
• Monitor and maintain correct refrigeration unit temperatures

Essential Skills

• Previous multi-drop experience (preferred)
• Valid UK Category B Driving Licence held for at least two years
• Previous multi-drop experience (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of vehicle operation and driving regulations
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to identify and report vehicle safety issues
• Good understanding of road networks and navigational tools
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and use own initiative
• Must undergo a DS/DBS check (good repute required)
• Must be over 25 years of age

Desirable Experience

• Experience driving commercial vehicles
• Vehicle maintenance and safety training
• Compliance and regulatory training
