SEND Teaching Assistant - Complex Needs & Personal Care- Birmingham B6
Are you an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity within a specialist school?
Aspire People are currently recruiting for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a specialist provision supporting pupils with complex needs. This is a Monday to Thursday position, working 8:30am - 3:00pm, supporting children with a combination of complex learning needs, physical disabilities and challenging behaviour.
The successful candidate will be confident providing personal care, supporting pupils with daily routines and helping to create a safe, positive and engaging learning environment. Previous experience working within a SEND setting is essential.
The successful candidate will have:
Previous experience supporting children with complex SEND needs.
Experience providing personal care.
Strong behaviour management skills.
A calm, patient and resilient approach.
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one at your own cost.
Please note: No training will be provided. Applicants must have relevant SEND experience and be confident carrying out the duties from day one.
