SEND Class Teacher – Primary Complex Needs

The Role:
- Teaching a small class of primary-aged pupils with complex learning needs
- Planning and delivering highly differentiated and engaging lessons
- Supporting communication, independence and personal development
- Working closely with Teaching Assistants and specialist professionals
- Contributing to EHCP targets and personalised learning programmes
- Monitoring and assessing pupil progress
- Creating a positive, inclusive and nurturing classroom environment
- Building strong relationships with families and external agencies
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching children with SEND or complex needs
- A strong understanding of Autism, communication needs and personalised learning
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
- A patient, creative and nurturing approach
- The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- A genuine passion for helping children with additional needs succeed
