The Role
Working as part of a friendly and supportive Projects team, you will play a key role in ensuring projects run smoothly by providing comprehensive administrative support to the Project Managers.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing day-to-day administrative support to the Projects Department using all of MS programme s
- Coordinating and scheduling engineers and operatives for site visits
- Preparing and compiling Health & Safety documentation, including RAMS
- Raising purchase orders and placing orders with suppliers and subcontractors
- Obtaining quotations from suppliers and contractors
- Producing correspondence, reports and emails on behalf of Project Managers
- Updating project information and maintaining accurate records
- Liaising with customers, suppliers and internal departments
- General office administration and project support
About You
To be successful, you will have:
- Previous administration experience within a busy office environment
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills with a professional telephone manner
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
- The ability to prioritise a varied workload and work to deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
Desirable
- Previous experience within an M&E, engineering, construction or projects environment
- Knowledge of Health & Safety documentation such as RAMS
