Interim Finance Business Partner - #2095655

I am recruiting for an experienced Interim Finance Business Partner to support strategic and operational decision-making across the organisation. The successful candidate will act as a key liaison between finance and wider business functions, delivering insightful financial analysis, driving performance, and supporting senior stakeholders during a period of change or transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with senior stakeholders to provide financial insight, challenge assumptions, and support strategic decision-making
• Produce robust financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis to drive business performance
• Deliver clear and actionable management reporting, highlighting risks and opportunities
• Support cost control initiatives and identify efficiency improvements across departments
• Build strong relationships with operational teams to improve financial understanding and accountability
• Contribute to business planning cycles, including scenario modelling and longer-term strategic planning
• Assist with month-end processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial information
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support key projects, investments, and change initiatives
• Ensure compliance with financial controls, governance, and company policies
• Collaborate with other finance colleagues to drive continuous improvement in processes and reporting

Additional Details:

• Hybrid working model with a Birmingham base
• Must be fully qualified - ACA, ACCA or CIMA
• Travel required twice monthly to Liverpool and/or Nottingham
• Interim assignment suited to a commercially minded finance professional with strong stakeholder engagement skills
• Need to be either immediately available or finishing a contract in the next couple of weeks
