Our client is a national outsourcing organisation, who manage a high volume of contracts on behalf of 3rd parties, where innovation, teamwork and service excellence are at the heart of everything.
Your new role
As a Commercial Contract Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting several major contracts, providing both financial and commercial insight to drive decision-making. Responsibilities include producing accurate monthly accounts, full P&L and balance sheet ownership, and ensuring compliance with IFRS and group policies.You'll lead financial analysis, identify performance trends, support cost reduction initiatives and present insights to senior stakeholders. The role also involves managing budgets and forecasts, supporting audits, improving processes and acting as the key finance contact for the contracts.
What you'll need to succeedYou will be an experienced accountant with strong technical knowledge, including IFRS, and a proven background in contract or long-term project accounting.Strong analytical and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to influence and challenge stakeholders. You'll be detail-oriented but able to see the bigger picture, with experience building relationships and driving improvements. Experience within Facilities Management or PFI contracts would be advantageous.
