Chef Lecturer (Part-Time 0.8)
Salary: £26.43 – £28.67 per hour
Hours: 0.8 (Part-Time)

Reed Further Education are seeking a dedicated and experienced Chef Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching across professional cookery programmes up to Level 3. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate culinary professional looking to inspire and develop the next generation of chefs within a Further Education setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging theory and practical cookery sessions up to Level 3
- Plan, deliver and review learning programmes and curriculum content
- Monitor and track student progress, attendance, and achievement
- Provide academic and pastoral support as a course leader
- Carry out assessments including initial assessments, feedback, and progress reviews
- Maintain accurate student records including ILPs and tracking systems
- Support students with study skills, exam preparation, and progression
- Contribute to enrichment activities, work placements, and trips
- Ensure compliance with quality assurance and teaching standards
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching delivery
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in Professional Cookery (or equivalent)
- Ideally hold a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent)
- Experience delivering or training within professional cookery or hospitality
- Strong organisational and classroom management skills
- Ability to support learners with a range of needs
