We are seeking an experienced Interim Internal Auditor to join a large organisation in Birmingham. The role requires expertise in accounting and finance to ensure compliance and enhance operational efficiency.

Description

• Conduct thorough audits to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and processes.
• Identify and report on areas of risk and recommend actionable solutions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and standards.
• Review financial records and transactions for accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with teams to understand and assess operational processes.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to management.
• Assist in the development and improvement of internal audit procedures.
• Support the implementation of recommended changes to enhance efficiency.

Profile

A successful Internal Auditor should have:

• Ideally qualified within accountancy or audit
• Experience within internal audit or risk assurance
• Proven ability to analyse complex financial data and processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Effective communication skills for reporting and collaboration.
• Proficiency in audit methodologies and tools.
• A proactive and solutions-oriented approach.

Job Offer

• Competitive daily pay rate of £400 - £500 per day DOE
• Inside IR35 contract for an initial 6 month period
• One day onsite per week in Birmingham
