Senior L&D/Sales Consultant – Birmingham or Manchester

Can also be based either out of Manchester or Marlow

Salary £60,000 + Commission

Hybrid working available

Senior L&D role supporting enterprise‑level sales teams and sales strategy. You’ll bring proven experience developing capability in large, complex sales organisations and a track record of lifting performance and outcomes.

As a senior consultant, you’ll navigate competing priorities, work autonomously, and deliver clear, agreed results. You’ll plan and execute both strategic and tactical work, choosing when to operate as an individual contributor and when to draw on internal or external expertise.

Success in L&D is shaped by the environment around you — and this one is exceptional. You’ll join a growing organisation where culture drives strategy, senior leaders champion capability development, and employees are energised and eager to grow.

Key skills and responsibilities,

  • Enterprise sales know‑how — You’ve worked in enterprise sales or alongside big sales teams, so you get how they think and what they need.
  • Partner Management experience
  • Stakeholder management experience
  • Hands‑on L&D experience — You know how to build and run learning that actually helps salespeople get better, not just sit through training.
  • Working with senior leaders — You’re confident partnering with leaders and shaping L&D so it lines up with what the business is trying to achieve.
  • Self‑starter mindset — You can run with things on your own, juggle a bunch of moving parts, and still deliver great work on time.
  • Planning and juggling priorities — You can switch between big‑picture strategy and hands‑on doing, keep deadlines under control, and manage expectations across teams and leaders.
  • Showing impact — You use data to show what’s working, what’s not, and how learning can keep improving.
  • Modern learning design - You understand how people learn and use that to create practical, engaging, behaviour‑changing experiences.
