Planning / Senior Planning Manager

Birmingham (1-2 days per week)

£65k - £95k

We are working with a leading strategic land promotion business, who are looking to strengthen their team with an experienced planner to manage a portfolio of strategic land schemes, working on sites from acquisition through to disposal.

You'd work closely with the Regional Director, and be responsible for running your projects, and managing your own diary. The ability to work autonomously and just crack on is essential. As is the ability to make decisions, and operate in a fast moving environment.

This role would suit someone an experienced individual who can hit the ground running, and is comfortable leading on a portfolio of projects from day one.

The regional offices is in Birmingham, you'd be needed in the office every Monday, and some weeks one other day, but this would depend on meetings / workload etc

On offer is a salary of circa £65k - £95k plus package and bonus.

Responsibilities:

• Work current and future planning applications and promotion work
• Work closely with the Regional Director on acquisitions and disposals
• Promote sites and achieve planning consents
• Manage planning appeals
• Manage external planning consultants
• Stay current with planning policy updates for local authorities.

Key experience:

• Degree qualified and MRTPI
• Experience working on strategic land planning & promotion projects
• Knowledge of the acquisition & disposals process and the ability to input planning expertise into both.
