An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Client Services Associate to join a highly respected financial planning business in the Solihull area. This role offers the chance to work alongside experienced Advisers and support staff, delivering exceptional service to a diverse client base while developing your own knowledge and career within wealth management.
The Role
You will play a key role in supporting Financial Advisers and ensuring clients receive a first-class experience throughout their journey.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing withdrawals and ad hoc payments across ISAs, SIPPs, Bonds and GIAs
- Managing transfers in and out, liaising with clients, providers and colleagues
- Monitoring cash reconciliations and outstanding fees
- Processing client changes including bank details and change of address requests
- Producing client valuations, performance summaries and transaction reports
- Supporting the wider team with new business applications and account administration
- Managing account closures and deceased client cases with care and efficiency
- Ensuring all client communications are accurate, timely and professional
- Working closely with operational teams to deliver a seamless client experience
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance operational efficiency
- Maintaining accurate records in line with FCA and company procedures
About You
We're keen to speak with individuals who possess:
- Previous experience within a client services, financial services administration or wealth management environment
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Knowledge of settlements, transfers and financial services administration
- A genuine interest in financial planning and wealth management
Qualifications
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills
- Suitable for graduates looking to start a career in wealth management
- Candidates currently studying towards, or interested in pursuing, a level 4 Financial Planning qualification are encouraged to apply
