As part of a major commercial expansion, they are investing heavily in building a predictable, premier outbound engine. They are seeking an entrepreneurial Head of Sales Development to take absolute ownership of this function, designing the strategic playbooks, scaling a remote team, and directly shaping the global pipeline.
Why This Role Matters
This is not an "activity-monitoring" management job. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, you will act as a foundational commercial architect. You will inherit an early-stage team and build a sophisticated, scalable outbound operation from scratch. You will own the strategy, the tools, the qualification standards, and the culture.

Key Responsibilities (What You Will Own)
- Team Evolution & Scaling: Recruit, mentor, and elevate a high-performing, remote-first outbound team. Provide top-tier coaching, tactical guidance, and strategic direction.
- Outbound Strategy Design: Define Ideal Customer Profiles (ICP), map target account frameworks, and craft modern outbound campaigns tailored to complex enterprise buyers.
- The Go-To-Market Playbook: Standardize elite qualification criteria, optimize lead handoff protocols, and create continuous operational rhythms.
- Data & Tech Ecosystem: Take ownership of CRM performance, data health, and analytics architecture to give the executive team perfect visibility into funnel performance.
- Cross-Functional Synergy: Work hand-in-hand with Sales and Marketing leadership to eliminate silos and maximize overall pipeline conversion.
What We Are Looking For
- The Builder Profile: A proven track record of establishing or significantly scaling an outbound BDR/SDR team.
- Complex B2B Background: Deep experience navigating consultative, enterprise tech, SaaS, or complex services-led sales cycles (not high-volume transactional sales).
- Value-Over-Volume Mindset: You manage by pipeline quality, opportunity conversion, and revenue impact—not just raw activity tracking.
- Remote Leadership: Exceptional ability to foster structure, clear accountability, and a vibrant culture across distributed teams.
- Agility: Comfort operating within high-growth, evolving environments where you are expected to bring clarity to ambiguity.
