We are looking for a full-time Inventory Clerk to join our team at Focusrite, in Birmingham – Merlin Park.


You will be working 40 hours a week, on a rota basis, any 5 days out of 7 with working hours 10:00-18:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:


  • Maintain stock accuracy across the operation through cycle counts, stocktakes, and ongoing inventory reviews
  • Investigate discrepancies, conduct root cause analysis, and process stock adjustments where required
  • Use the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to complete transactions and produce accurate stock and operational reports (daily, weekly, and monthly)
  • Support the movement of stock from inbound to outbound, including Goods In, replenishment, picking, and dispatch activities
  • Ensure all stock is handled, stored, and moved safely, in line with compliance standards and transport requirements


What you need to succeed at GXO:


  • Experience in warehouse/ stock administration is essential
  • Proficiency in IT systems including WMS
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • A strong ‘Can Do’ attitude to succeed in a demanding environment
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft applications
  • Good customer service skills
