Are you CNC Operator or similar, having prior working experience on Lathes, and ideally, but not essentially, a knowledge of programming CNC Machines, with the ability to read/understand CAD drawings, looking to join a close-knit, family-feel company, leading the way in Precision Engineering for over 50 years?

In this role, the successful CNC/CAD Operator will be responsible for both the setting and operating of CNC Machines. If able, you may also be responsible for programming said You will also be responsible for the preparation/understanding of detailed CAD drawings for both internal and customer use. In addition, you will also be responsible for providing technical support to the sales team in regard to customer specifications, material costs etc… Finally, you will also be responsible for providing technical support to the Production Team as and when needed.

The ideal CNC/CAD Operator will have a background in the Manufacturing Sector, with previous experience within a CNC/CAD Operator position. You will also know how to set, and operate said CNC Machines, and ideally, but not essentially have an understanding of programming. In addition to this, you will also have a knowledge of CAD software. Finally, you will have strong attention to detail as well as a passion for Engineering.

The Role:

• Programme, set and operate CNC Machines
• Create drawings using CAD software
• Provide technical support as and when needed

The Person:

• Previous experience in a CNC/CAD Operator position
• Experience in Programming, Setting and Operating CNC Machines
• A knowledge of CAD software
