We're excited to offer an opportunity for a proactive and personable Receptionist / Administration Assistant to join our team. As the front face of the firm, you'll play a pivotal role in creating a welcoming, professional environment for clients and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the office.
While previous experience within a legal practice is highly desirable, we're also keen to hear from candidates with strong administrative or front-of-house experience from similar professional environments.
No two days are the same in this role. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering a warm, professional welcome to clients and visitors
- Managing incoming calls, directing enquiries, and taking clear messages
- Coordinating meeting room bookings and ensuring rooms are always presentation-ready
- Overseeing the reception inbox and handling correspondence efficiently
- Supporting the team with scanning, printing, photocopying, and document management
- Processing fee-earner dictation accurately and in a timely manner
- Assisting with file opening, closing, and client onboarding processes
- Managing incoming and outgoing post, including daily post box checks
- Monitoring and restocking office and kitchen supplies
- Liaising with suppliers, clients, and external contacts
- Supporting charitable initiatives and liaising with partner charities
- Providing general administrative support across the firm as needed
- Friendly, professional, and highly organised
- A strong communicator with excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, consistent, and takes pride in delivering high-quality work
- Ideally experienced in a receptionist or administrative role
