Key Responsibilities- Undertake asbestos sampling in accordance with HSG264 guidance and internal quality procedures.
- Conduct building inspections to complete asbestos management surveys and refurbishment/demolition surveys.
- Produce accurate site drawings and carry out technical quality assurance checks on collected data.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of asbestos legislation, industry guidance, and quality management requirements.
- Complete monthly quality control checks within required timescales.
- Maintain accurate exposure records and undertake regular respiratory protective equipment (RPE) inspections.
- Ensure all surveying equipment is correctly calibrated and maintained in accordance with HSG264 requirements.
- Record survey information accurately using electronic data capture systems.
- Label and document asbestos samples correctly and consistently.
- Produce detailed site drawings using appropriate software applications in line with client and organisational requirements.
- Update survey data regularly, with a minimum requirement for daily updates.
- Ensure all survey locations are appropriately photographed and images are uploaded to the relevant systems.
- Carry out technical quality assurance checks before reports are issued to clients.
- Hold a BOHS P402 qualification or equivalent RSPH certification.
- Have experience undertaking asbestos management and refurbishment/demolition surveys.
- Demonstrate a positive, proactive, and professional approach to work.
- Possess a full, valid UK driving licence.
- Have excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Be able to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a wider team.
