HGV CLASS 2 MOFFETT DRIVER - BIRMINGHAM

People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Moffett Drivers to join our client’s growing transport operation in Birmingham, West Midlands and the surrounding areas.
This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced and newly qualified drivers who are looking for stability, great earning potential, and long-term progression.

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday: Start times from 7.00am

Pay Rate: £17.50 - £18.00 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties

• Safely operate and drive Class 2 vehicles to and from delivery locations
• Delivery to all types of companies but mostly building sites
• Complete loading and unloading tasks with care and accuracy
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects to management
• Adhere to all traffic laws and road safety regulations
• Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and site staff

Essential Skills

• Valid UK Category C Licence
• Valid Moffett Certificate
• Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no IN, DR, DD, CD codes)
• Reliable, professional, and punctual
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Understanding of road safety and compliance.

Desirable Experience

• Previous commercial or multi-drop delivery experience
• Experience handling large or bulky goods
• Good customer interaction and service skills

Training

• Industry-related training provided and ongoing support and development throughout your assignment
